Delivers Glancing Blow to
Owner-Marketers ... Leaving Others

Today's business economic cycle separates the owner-hobbyists from owner-marketers. Seeing the movie "Cool Hand Luke" got me thinking about the business owners who thrive through...an economic slowdown. Or the owners winding up in virtual solitary confinement...and not taking vitally important action.

Having three sons who rode their cars pretty hard, I got to know an owner of one solid auto body repair shop. And in three counties Jack is miles ahead of any other auto body repair shop owner. And booked. You have to make an appointment to get a repair estimate.

Because Jack puts his target market first through search engine ranking improvement. Jack doesn't worry about "everyone" being his potential client. What he does is pounce on a possible "can-do-idea" before he needs it. Then...when he sees a business economic cycle setting up, it's "racked and ready to break" through the market clutter.

Now, for instance. In the past Jack walked-through-the-darkness of a tight business economic cycle. Figuring history might repeat itself, he thumbed through a bursting-at-the-seams brown accordion folder. And an idea or two popped out in need of an update.

Can you see how this puts Jack miles ahead of his competitors? When the competition gets fierce, and the rest of them are fighting over a smaller piece of the pie, Jack will have the advantage. The weaker ones will wind up shuttering their businesses. Don't let this be you.
